trainchaser007 (Brandon Adams RIP 9/22/2017) Passed away September 22, 2017

Sunday, I ran into Don Taylor, of Beaverton, AL. Don worked for the Frisco, BN & possibly BNSF. (Someone else recently told me he's retired and driving RR crew vans now but Don & I didn't talk about that.) I've been knowing Don and his family all of my life, mainly through church affiliations. He told me a little about his work on the old AT&N and how he and the crew would "go in together and get a room" in Mobile before returning with a train the next day. At times he has worked on the AT&N, Brilliant branch, Dora branch (where he was a foreman), and the various pulpwood yards that were in our area. Don's about the only local Frisco employee I know well enough to ask questions. I think I could spend a whole day with him just talking about railroading. I can't help but wonder if any of the users of this site know him?
