Okay... retirement is looking to be June 2018. I need to get serious about amassing supplies for my diesel era stuff. First question: IS there still a readily available decal set for the white lettering on boxcar red "Ship It" scheme for 40' - 50' boxcars, circa early 1960's? Same question for the "Ship It" cabooseseses. (Cabeese?) We won't get into the "would'a could'a should'a" issues of a stripe scheme for diesels. So, what's available? All fer now.
Check eBay in about three weeks. I believe I have some decals yet (though all the Oddballs are gone now) that will meet at least some of your needs. I won't be able to post them until then due to travel. K
You might try these people: http://www.maskislanddecals.com/ I have not bought any but they look good. Jerome-OKC
Thanks for the input, guys. Much appreciated. Jerome: I think I recall ordering a set of Mask's Frisco diesel switcher decals when it was released and noted there were some slight issues (issues to me) that caused them to get tossed into the pile of "other" sets likely to remain unused.
I'm just going to throw this into the fray! I cannot locate the thread that had to do with having decals made. I would like to follow up on this, but (sorry to say) I cannot even speak the computer language - and hence have no idea as to the mechanics! https://kadee.com/htmbord/alpscustom.htm
