Greg has just published a new book, Illinois Central Through Passenger Service, with Four Ways West Books. How is this Frisco? The "City of Miami" and the "Seminole" both ran as Frisco timetable trains (numbers 1309/1310 and 1352/1353) between Jasper and Birmingham Alabama. In addition, the Frisco's "Memphian" and the IC's "Choctaw" ran as direct competitors between the same two end stations (The IC finally won, or maybe not?)

Ken, thanks for the kudos. Jim, thanks for the lunch offer (I will make it worth your while).

Additionally, I am working on a Missouri Pacific passenger volume. If anybody out there has any MP passenger slides they would be willing to lend to the project, I'd sure like to hear from you.

    That's just Awesome, Greg!
Do we get a recording of Willie's singing 'City of New Orleans' to go with it?

Nice addition to the required reading list Greg. The only time I operated Allan Keller's Bluff City Southern HO layout here in TN, I got to run his City of New Orleans through Memphis.
