What color do you use for weathered freight car truck sideframes on friction bearing trucks? Thanks, Paul Moore
Railroad Tie Brown. Mission Hill is the latest brand. If you can find Polly Scale, they call it the same. I also use Weathered Black if the car has been in service for a short period or just acquired. I also use weathering chalk to highlight such as dust and a light rust color.
Thanks much. A guy I know off of the forum said the same thing, but it sounded strange, so I thought checking here might be a good idea. I have two bottles of Polly S RR Tie Brown. Thank you for the input. Paul Moore
