Chaffee Depot and trackage (c. 1969) looking to NW. The taxi stand and tile roof are already gone. Photographer unknown; from a 1969 community planning proposal that I found somewhere (can't remember where).

Chaffee depot (with 2-8-0 # 1233 on train #876 to Hoxie, AR) - reprinted from a prior FMIG Newsletter; photo from Mel Nierdieck. This and its companion in this newsletter is the only picture of this train of which I'm aware (other than ones with ex-AT&N RS-2 at Poplar Bluff in Frisco Power

    Chaffee, MO - Ice House

The building on the left now serves as the Chaffee depot. It was formerly used as crew lockers and the building on the right was the ice house so I am told.

    Chaffee, MO - 2003

I took this today 5/26/03. It is used as Chaffee's depot and is the last Frisco building left on the property.

From Richard Crabtree on Frisco Rails Across Missouri:
Here we are the Frisco Depot in Chaffee Missouri. This town was a very busy Frisco Division Point and half way between St. Louis & Memphis. The town and Frisco facilities really came into being around 1905/6 timeframe. The Frisco Yards & Station consisted of 150 acres and employed 300 people.
