These are some photos of the Caruthersville Branch now the Pemiscot County Port Railway. The BNSF train is pulling the first trainload of oil to the new rail - river transfer station. The other photographs are of the terminal port switcher storing cars at the port. BNSF is making upgrades at the yard at Hayti for the new transfer service. This line was abandoned in the 1980s. Bought by the port authority, now after several years of building a mile at a time it is back to life.
