If any of you are in Carthage for the train show tomorrow, Dec. 19 I will be hosting an informal open house at Blair Line from 10:30 AM - Noon. You are welcome to stop by and take our "factory" tour. Would like to be open longer but my wife informed me in no uncertain terms that I am not missing my mother in law's Saturday afternoon Christmas party. On display will be our small traveling N scale layout "Blairstown" and the remnants of my last N scale layout, which is now a big diorama unless you want to push trains around by hand! I have also started benchwork for my new 14'x16' double deck N scale Kansas City, Osceola and Southern modeling the Frisco's Clinton Sub from KC-Clinton-Springfield, MO. Directions from Fairview Christian Church: go north on Grand Ave (N-S street in front of the church) about 1/2 mile to the first 4-way stop at Grand and Fairview Rd. Turn right on Fairview Road go approx. 4 miles to County Road 100. Turn left (north) on County Road 100. Go approx. .3 mile just past 5th house on the left. Turn left onto gravel drive that goes back to a tan metal building. Look for my white Ford Ranger with white camper shell out front of building. Hope to see some of you tomorrow.
