Here is an excerpt from a 1981 report by Wilbur Smith & Associates regarding the status in 1980 of traffic, track components, track conditions, and usage for the Buick and Salem Branches. Interesting traffic statistics, and much detail regarding rail, ties, anchors, etc. I only have this excerpt, so I do not know if this report was created for BN only, or for one of the state transportation departments.
