I wanted to post this a while ago, but now that I've got another book out, I'll do it now. Earlier this year I published "Kansas Train Tales," a collection of my railroad articles. It includes the Andover Train Robbery piece already posted at the Library, but with a new afterword; a piece on the Frisco/Santa Fe Kansas Southwestern line from Ark City to Anthony; and a piece on the Frisco's Halstead branch. In addition, in the last week I've gotten out "Ghost Railroads of Kansas," the new edition with new info & photos, including a couple nice Frisco images and a KCFS&M locomotive shot.
