There will be a Train show in Bentonville Arkansas this saturday Feb, 28th. It will be at the Clarion hotel an Convention center at 211 SE Sam Walton Blvd. The meet will begin at 9 am and end at 3pm.
I would like to request that all of the Frisco.org folks write Frisco.org below their name on the name tags. This will make it easier for us to meet face to face. I hope to see many of you soon.

Definitely the 28th, this Saturday. I'll have to think about the name tags, Bob. We tried them one year but the majority of our crowd (1300 plus last year) is kids and parents who aren't staying long. Maybe longer than they planned when the kids get to operate the G scale trains with Boston Mountain Chapter of NRLHS.
There will be over 150 tables of vendors and seven or more operating layouts. The MP hysterical folks will have a table. Grand door prize is a trip on the Amtrak Eagle.
Come one, come all. Any Frisco folk, please look me up. I'll be at the N scale layout or gabbing with someone.

It was a great show. I was able to purchase a few "needed items". I really enjoyed the day even though the weather wasn't the best.
I was able to meet quite a few new friends and many old ones as well. It was really great seeing and talking to those of you on this list.

  6. It was a great show i came up from Van Buren to it yewsterday. I got a brass Frisco RS-1 and dozen good freight cars and a nice Frisco caboose. The huge Large scale layout in the midlle was impressive. Loved the HO scale one in the ballroom complete with Frisco train!!!

I know where i'm going next year!!!

I was hoping to go with a batch of old friends from the Ft. Smith region... but alas... I was running the Saturday Ft. Smith/Winslow passenger train again. :(
