Atlas HO GP38-2

    Have we gone over the Atlas GP38-2 in HO? If so, I can't remember or find the thread.

    Who has 'em and how do they run? Are they fairly accurate? The Atlas photo is not real good.

    Yes we have and yours truly made some great observations. It's in their Trainman line which has less detail and attention to fidelity. If I remember correctly, it does have the same basic drive train as their Master Line. The probable reason that you didn't find it by searching is that you didn't search under "Trainman". At least that's what happened to me.

    Rick - I did a review on the Atlas GP38-2 in the thread Bob referenced. I think you did one as well.

    I bought one, but eventually sold it as I was purging late 2nd generation diesels. As I recall, it ran smoother than my two Frisco Atlas GP38's.
