I agree, bogus. I have seen O/W paint under a couple Geeps even here in GJ. But it was behind and in between the hood doors.. I was never so glad to run an engine BTW.
Former Colorado & Wyoming locomotive, either unit 2001 or 2002. Several years ago I had caught a glimpse of orange and white in "recent" photos and tracked it down to those units.
