    Folks,

I would like to introduce you to a new Frisco.org project; The Frisco Archive.

I mentioned in the past that I had some ideas to further the Frisco presence on the Internet and this is one of them.

I actually started the site on September 17 but no one has seen it in to date so that I could get some content posted.

Some of the content you have seen before, as far as slides and scanned documents. No slides have been posted at this resolution prior to this and you can save them if you want. These will be high quality scans (by Bob Dye). As well, intermingled will be many slides and documents that have not been posted to Frisco.org previously.

Something new will be posted every day. This will give you a good reason to check daily. I have enough good content to post something every day for more than a year. During that time, we will acquire more.

I would also like to invite people to join this project. We might be able to get enough content to add two posts per day if people have more to share.

In order to post content (or comments) one would have to be registered to the site and that will have to be done manually, so contact me if you want to be registered. This will not take away from what we do here and it is not in competition with what we do here. Again, this is also a Frisco.org site. It’s just a different way of offering some content.

If you would like to donate slides or scans – or, if you have Frisco documents that can be scanned and added to the site you can send them to us for scanning, and I will even pay the return postage to send them back to you.

If you want to join this project (as far as offering content) please, let me know! The goal is get as many slides scanned as possible and posted to the site. We will accept donations of slides or we can scan and return. We will also accept monetary donations in order to continue to purchase slides and documents.

I have spent over $1000 in personal money this year buying slides and every one of them will be offered to you folks in the form of a high-quality scan free of charge. So, help is appreciated.

Note also that if you scroll to the bottom of the page and think that is all, look for the β€œOlder posts” button as there are only 10 items per page and I have been adding content daily since September 17.

Again, the URL is: Frisco Archive.

Love those hi-res scans! I've already saved a few for future reference when building models. Thanks for the time, effort and money you've put into this. Thanks to Bob Dye for doing the scans. Looking forward to more...

    Folks,

I did not realize that the Frisco Archive website was not working properly after the server move. I have found the problem and the site is functioning properly.

    Folks,

Due to the generosity of one of our members, the Frisco Archive will be going to two posts per day for at least some time into the new year and maybe longer. One post will be added at midnight (Eastern time) and another at noon (Eastern time) beginning today.

    Enjoy!

    Charlie
