Can't wait to see photos of your work return, Jim. Hopefully you have some good train watching opportunities. Also just a hop, skip and jump from the Snow Cap Drive-In down the road in Seligman.

    Best Regards,

Interesting tidbit... Seligman Arizona, is named after the brother of the financier that Seligman MO is named after. His widow donated the plot of land that Union Church in Seligman MO. sits on.

After I got the QA&P depot home. I decided to modify it to an extent, darken the windows and a few other little things, put some flat gel medium on the cast on Pine trees and then sprinkled some foam on them, dark washed the roof, made another Quanah sign for the front, anyways I think it turned out OK. I then had to decide where it was gonna go, had to remove a couple nice scratch built buildings, lay some more track, but all in all it was worth it.

Here the building is, as delivered.

Here she sits at her new home, I need to put in some line poles and the flag pole and a few more details, but pretty much the scene is close to done.

Always had a slight soft spot for the MKT, but that gawdy Green and Yellow cured that!
What a travesty! That was the trend back then; many railroads and airlines tried to out-do each other.

The red TWA MD-80 was kind of cool. We saw it in STL often. You ever fly it Sherrel?

Thanks Don I appreciate the comment.

And thank you Steve, it does kind of tie things together a bit.

Jim I agree, what a grandiose building indeed. And for a 113 mile Railroad. Although it was El Paso at first, too bad the economy went against them.

    Thanks David for looking.

Thanks Sherrel, I hope that little museum sells a few of the model buildings.

    And thank you Ken.

Always good to hear from you folks.

Had all kinds of trouble trying to reply to you, KEN.
I do remember seeing that plane, but to the best of my "slipping" memory - I think that I had already moved up to the 747 by that time.
American recently painted a heritage plane (I guess you would call it) with the TWA colors. Sure looked pretty!
MBH and I mention often how nice things were back in the 70's and 80's - service, food, room! Nowdays ... I just dread going anywhere near an airport.

I bought this Wondershere from Filmora. Gonna be a pretty steep learning curve for me on how to upload videos blend them together and stuff.
Here is my first attempt with wondershare, still struggling with the audio, bt I will figure it out, well I hope I do, I spent the $$ now.

    Thanks Ken and Jim!
I hardly ever count the cars. Just fill the track, put the power on and go like I stole it.

  19. Incredible Tom. So smooth running and such long trains is amazing. Really something to be proud of.
Do all your engines have sound? What power/control system do you use?

Thanks for sharing. Impressive even though I have watched all your other videos, it is still incredible.

    Jim, et al.
Off topic for this thread, but I'm selling off all my remaining Oddballs Frisco decals on eBay as we speak. FYI, there are Frisco gondola decals included from 1910 built and 1919 built. I know you like the old ones!
