4501 on the move.

    I just had a call from Scott Lindsay who was in the engineer's seat of the 4501 at 10MPH headed to Frisco. He said they were about halfway and no problems. He handled the job of getting her ready for the move. I think all the lettering, etc is finished too.

    I'd sure be interested to see any photos of the move.

    Wouldn't it be great to see a fantasy double-header with 4500 and 4501 headin' down the line?

    Gordon, here is one more picture of 4501 before they backed her out of Fair Park. If 4500 and 4501 were just side-by-side it would be a sight!

    To quote the museum- "4501 arrived in Frisco at 11:00pm and performed flawlessly. Our thanks to everyone at DGNO & BNSF Railway for an outstanding job". I took a few videos of the move.
