Found this today. Wichita Eagle, Nov. 20, 1910

The AVI ran it's first official train Nov. 19, 1910 with service from Wichita to Valley Center, Kansas. It appears they had problems with the electricity between Valley Center and Sedgwick, Valley Center was the end of the line. There was a connection with the Frisco at Valley Center.

The locomotive is listed as former KCFS&M 5, Baldwin 4-6-0 freight built 1871 and scrapped in 1914.
