Howdy, The votes are all in and counted. Thank to all of you who took time to vote and share thanks to FRISCrg contributors. The 2008 Engineers of the Year are Karl Brand and Doug Hughes. I don't see a reason to have a runoff to break the tie. Karl Brand: The number of posts and the assistence given by Karl to members were the most popular reasons to support the votes. One member summed it up with this comment, "I'm continually amazed by the trove that Karl Brand is always uncovering and sharing with the group". From all of us to you, thanks Karl! Doug Hughes: The work Doug did scanning and posting the FMIG newsletters were the most popular reasons offered to support the votes. One member summed it up with this comment, "Doug was also the first true Frisco lover's focal point - his FMIG, which started in the mid/late -1970's, was a welcome voice in the wilderness for Frisco-interested people.
