Does anyone know which of Frisco's Decapods wound up in the hands of Eagle-Picher (E-P)?

I have photographs of 2-10-0 SLSF 1625 lettered for E-P, but am wondering how many others were similarly sold.

    Thanks!

    Greg,

Per Joe's Frisco Power, page 64, the following locomotives were sold to Eagle-Picher Mining Company in 1951.

    2-10-0 SLSF 1615, 1621, 1625, 1630 and 1632.

That saved them from the torch, all five I think, are still around on display.

2-10-0 SLSF 1621 is here at the National Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, MO.

2-10-0 SLSF 1630 is still under steam most of the time at the Illinois Railroad Museum.

However, I think I recall reading somewhere that it is out of service under repair right now.

Actually 2-10-0 SLSF 1630 has been undergoing a overhaul for the last few years and she is just about done.

The only time I every saw her was in 1984.

She was undergoing some sort of repair work.

I would like to get back to the IRM as it has been a very long time since I was there.
