As I recall, Oddballs, and I think long ago, Walthers, did this lettering set. I probably have them in my yet unopened stash in our storage locker.

Now I'm not sure I still have it. The E7 might very well have been lost in our estate sale.

Don's steam locomotives are fantastic models!!! They have a lot of detail and just the right amount of weathering.

    Great job Don!!!

Don, as I look through these, I'm reminded of the sheer variety of appliances, appurtenances, etc. that seemed to festoon even different locomotives among the same classes/types of Frisco steam power over the years. For me - even as a novice - it almost personifies each locomotive.

I'm thoroughly impressed by how you've recreated each detail on each of your models. I think it really honors each machine and those who maintained them, overhauled them and those who sat in the right-hand seat and who fired them. And, there's the fact that it gives those of us slowpoke modelers a very high standard to aim toward.

Many thanks for sharing your work and for being patient and helpful all these years with those of us who always have "just one more question" about these locomotive or that feature.

    Best Regards,
