1304 in St. James Snowstorm, 1912

    Engine no. 1304 in snowstorm at St. James, 1912. Nice numbering on the tender:D.

    Actually it looks like whoever labeled the photo, wrote the 1304 on the tender. Looking at the number board on the headlight, though, reveals the engine number was really 1302.

    I noticed that too, after I had already posted the picture. Once it's enlarged, you can make out "1302" pretty easily. Still an early 2-8-0, right? Hard to count the wheels with all the snow. I've seen some pretty deep snows in central Missouri, but I don't know if I've ever seen one comparable to the one shown here.
