I've always wanted to try Fall scenery and I'm thinking about making one side of my 4x8 in fall colors and the other side is already late summerish. I will have a scenic divider/backdrop separating the two sides and maybe I can transition the scenery. Any thoughts on this subject or has anyone done this and have any suggestions?

    Hey Jim,

That sounds like a great idea. You can merge both ends into an even flow by transitioning the colors. I say go for it. That sounds like a great idea! Please update your Zalma Branch thread with completed pictures of the late summer period. Your work is award winning in my eyes. Keep up the great work. The Frisco folks would be very proud of your achievements.

    Jim,
Steve Amitrano has done just what you propose doing with his Sn3 "Chili Line." At least when it was featured in Great Model Railroads a few years back, he had Chama as one season and Santa Fe as another.

I think it's doable, especially if you're not sure which one you'd like to do best.

    Best Regards,
