What is this type of switch/turnout called?

    Depot is to the left; the photographer is standing on the turntable lead. Nothing special with regard to the turnouts.

    Hoping I don't have to custom build one. (HO). It does add to the character of the depot area.

    Looks like maybe two #8's or #10's (left and right) facing point to each other. Both switches are lined for their turnouts. This isn't a form of "slip" switch, but such close proximity of facing points is not seen very often.

    It does look like an arrangement that would be rife for operating problems without a highly skilled track gang on duty. As such, it seems suitable for the type of track work that I’d do in 1:87. :)

    Because of it's position in the operations at Seligman, it never saw much in the way of speed.

    There was a local track gang located here too.
