Here's a surprise. In an Athearn Pullman car box, I apparently had included a pair of mint, un-opened HO wood decks sized for 52' 6" Proto 2000 drop end mill gondolas. I do recall that packing all the things I wanted to keep was a frantic exercise before the screaming hordes of buyers came to our estate sale in Sept, 2016, before we moved down to Naples, FL. I still have nightmares! Anyway, I have two packs of the American Model Builders "LASERkit" wooden decks sized for the Frisco (among other) Proto 2000 52' 6" drop end mill gondola kits, that made into a terrific looking SLSF gon. These are "LASERkit" item #322. Price new today is $5.95 each ... however, they are and have been out of stock at Walthers as well as other shops for some time. These are in mint condition, unopened. I bought several of these way back when the P2K kits were introduced, as I used the decks trimmed for other cars as well - flat cars and other gons. The cars really look good with these decks on them - new or weathered. These long decks allow trimming down to smaller size for many other gons and flats. There is one 52' 6" deck per pack. I have no need for these now, so I'll offer them to a frisco.org member who could use them. If interested, send me a check for $10.00 (I have fired PayPal) and I will ship them to you ASAP.
