Atlas announced today two 40 foot ice reefers lettered for Producers Produce Springfield, MO. MFAX 110: https://shop.atlasrr.com/p-57584-n-40-wood-reefer-producers-produce-110.aspx MFAX 111: https://shop.atlasrr.com/p-57585-n-40-wood-reefer-producers-produce-111.aspx These cars might have lasted into the 1950s, but I don’t have any prototype information on the cars to back that up. Producers Produce was an MFA affiliated company, and had a facility on Main Street north of the Frisco Station in Springfield.
