Here is an excellent builders photograph of 4-6-0 SLSF 55. Built by Rogers Locomotive Works in 1880. The locomotive would be renumbered to SLSF 165 and later SLSF 415. Andre
To me, that is train porn. I am working on a Frisco locomotive and mixed train from the 1880s. Good shot of the tender lettering as well. Any more golden oldies?
Hi Jim: LOL! "Train porn", eh? I do not have any more at this time that have not already been posted. However, I am always on the lookout for more pictures from my favorite steam era.
