    Chris, land grant is shown in post number 8 above. It's about 70 John Armstrong squares using 27" radius curves.

    Hmmm......I've seen that caboose somewhere before. Also the how-to article you did on it. Were I still modeling the Miami, OK area, I would need one or two like that.

    John Peluso (geep07) has set the bar very high for modeling the Dixon Hill area.

    Would love to see some more on this area. Rolls was the point we left the super slab to head south on 63 to get to Hardy. Always fascinated with the operations there and stories of Dixon Hill

    I have saved many digital photo of the Dixon area in case any of you modelers would be interested. One goes back to 1907 or so. Just let me know. I can post them here.

    Jackpot, Doug. What a nice way to return home from vacation!

    I especially like the Van Beidler shot of the depot and its environs. It's a great study for anyone who's looking to layout any Frisco small town: depot, water tank and water column, lower-quadrant train order signal, lineside industry and line poles a-plenty.
