I have completed the first eight feet of my West Bottoms (KC) layout. I fired up my 0-6-0 with sound for the first time. I purchased it in anticipation about a year ago. It is jaw dropping loud and runs great.
I am not getting anything done as I keep swithcing box cars into the same two sidings.

I am going to need two more of these and they are no where to be found.
If someone sees one buried on the shelve of their local hobby shop please let me know. That's how I found this one.

Sounds like something I would do if I haven't had a layout for a while.

I also have one numbered 3801 with a Tsunami decoder installed, and it runs and sounds great:). I also bought a GM&O to convert to Frisco later, and buying one lettered for another railroad may be what you will have to do to get more. There may be some available on ebay or train shows. Good luck, Terry

I expect the new government medical program will address this! There will be mandated limitations on the number of Frisco locomotives a frisco.org member can have in any given year. Severe penalties will be placed on those who violate the guidelines - you will be forced to model the 1980's BN.

    Friends,

I have been working on a couple of these Proto 0-6-0 locomotives, adding Tsunami 2 (1100) to each, and re-doing the lights with LEDs (front is tricky). Thanks @klrwhizkid (Keith) for the speakers, they are working great.

The closer loco is factory painted, and the front was decaled by Yours Truly. These are running well and are quite smooth, but I would like to recruit some advice on the options in the Tsunami 2 and the prototypes.

Can anyone say what a good option for the "Exhaust Select" (variety of light, medium, heavy), a likely whistle type for a Frisco switcher, etc? Frankly, I am a bit overwhelmed by these options. Obviously, hand-shoveled coal won't be right for the oil-burner.

    Thanks,

    -Bob T.

Bob, I think what is shown in your screen shot works just fine.
