Here comes the mixed train headed back to Brownwood after leaving Zalma. This photo was taken at Greenbrier with buildings just out of view to the right. Note the end of the siding where the road crosses the tracks. I'm using this photo and the photo posted in the HO modeling section labled Greenbrier 1920 to model the area. Sorry about terrible photo quality.

JIM - That is a great find!
I see where you have obtained your modeling direction.

Agree with Sherrel: Neat pic! That little 4-4-0 is ungainly looking, what with that tall cab! Reckon' it gives it more "character"!

That is a wonderful image Jim. Interesting looking scene, That boxcar behind the power is very interesting. Is that a building behind the boxcar? Or is it built a bit taller on one end, am I seeing that right?

Thanks folks. An oldie but a goody. I wondered about that too, Tom. It’s high noon and the shadows and smoke make that roof look bizarre but I think it’s just an illusion.

Just like the USRA Mikes that the Frisco raised the cab roofs on: accommodating those tall enginemen as they try to peer over the next Ozark ridge
