Thanks for accepting my membership. I'm a long time railfan of many different railroads; I spent most of my life in California and in a "previous life" I worked for the Western Pacific in San Francisco. I have a strong interest in heavyweight passenger equipment and passenger service during the heavyweight era. I've just recently discovered that the Frisco had some of the last heavyweight cars built and this has generated my interest in the Frisco. I'm looking forward to learning more! Lee Meyers
Lee - Welcome to frisco.org! It's a great group of people, who all share a strong interest in a great and unique railroad, the Frisco. Where are you in Tennessee? During my working career, I spent a lot of time at our plant in Columbia, TN, right below Nashville. Ken
Welcome, Lee. I do find that I am fond of a string of heavyweight passenger cars. If you haven't already found them, Ken McElreath (kenmc) has some dandy photos posted on the site of Frisco heavyweights that he's built over the years. Best Regards,
