    It looks like I will have a great model to pull the Sunnyland through Cape!

    Do you know what stripes unit 617 will have. I hope they are the introduced version.

    Thanks, Tony

    Wow. Period correct for my diesel theme... including the correct box spark arrestors!
    I'll bet getting all four w/sound (579-617) would be right at a grand. Whew.

    Thank God, finally! I wish we could get them to do a F7 ABBA set in b/y as well. Also a b/y FP7 and F9B. All Genesis of course! All of those would be easy for them to do.

    Spring Creek Model Trains has given me pricing for Pre-orders (no money down);
    Non sound $150, sound $218.

    I will be ordering all four Frisco and one MoP GP7 as well.

    Looks like I'll be buying some peanut butter...

    I would like to see an O/W scheme GP 7 by Athearn/ Genesis, with and without the chevron stripes.

    I don't know why, but I'll probably pick up several myself, probably three. I just love b/y GP7's! In particular when they are Genny's.

    Me too Ken.
    I don't understand what is happening to me, U-boats, now passenger trains!
    Next thing you know I will be buying Alco's or some such thing. Scary.
    But those E8's and a 15-20 car passenger train might look good on the 60-72" rad curves.

    Deb and I were laughing about the fact that I will be '79 when these come out. She finally is getting REAL Deep into the pockets. I plan on all 4 of the Frisco units. 3 with sound and 1 a plain jane to run with the F-3's.
