The new NMRA Bulletin has a couple pics of Brad's work and his First place awards at the NMRA national meet. Way to go Brad!
Really guys thanks for the kind words, the pictures really make them look good. I've been out of town all week so tonight was the first time I was able to check them out. There was a lot of outstanding models there, the region was very well represented in the awards session with a several great modelers from the area taking home wood. I try not to miss an opportunity to get our railroad some recognition in the press. Brad
I didn't get to see them. I don't belong to the NMRA but knowing Brad, whatever it was is perfection.
Thanks again for the compliments. I managed to take a pair of firsts, one for the caboose and the other for a narrow gauge crane I built. I took a 2-8-0 I converted from a Bachmann just have the Frisco in the steam class. There was a fellow there that scratchbuilt a n scale 0-6-0 that was amazing. I also had an entry in the diesel class, but was beat by the war bonnet, I'll try it again in St Louis in a few years, along with a few other Frisco entrys.
