Craig, What I have learned since then is that caboose SLSF 1202 was not actually delivered in Pullman green, but was painted green for use on a business train in the late 1960. It was not green for long.
Just an FYI. The Chamber at Mt. Vernon, MO is accepting bids on caboose SLSF 1202 until September 21, 2018, so if you are thinking about getting a caboose this is a chance.
The Chamber at Mt. Vernon accepted the final bid of $7500 for caboose SLSF 1202, the new owner is an individual from Rogersville, MO. I will try to keep track of its location and condition as the years roll by.
