For those of you who like to customize HO boxcars, take a look at the new roof walks Kadee has released to go along with their exquisite 40ft and 50ft Apex roof walks. The new ones feature the Morton roof walk (round holes) and the US Gypsum roof walk (staggered ovals). Both are also exquisite and are available in boxcar red, red oxide, black and galvanized colors. So far the new ones are only offered in 40ft lengths.
They will pop right in to any Kadee boxcar, and are easily used on other boxcars as well. They will provide a definite upgrade to any boxcar model, and will give a different look to a Kadee.

Oh my, must I do everything! Simple - go to Kadee.com. Look for accessories. Apex roof walks are items 2000-2003, depending on the color. Morton are items 2005-2008, US Gypsum are items 2015-2018. All 40ft. Only Apex are 50ft (so far), items 2010-2013. All available in the four colors - boxcar red, red oxide, black, galvanized.

The Kadee Morton tread roofwalks are not accurate. Morton tread needs to be 2 scale inches in height, their version is their standard height 1 inch. If you look at the moloco roofwalk Morton roofwalks they're correct, with the 2 inches height and up and down profile on the side edges to deal with the roof ribs and stay within Plate B clearances. See the link.

Nick - Thanks. Rare that Kadee did not reproduce the part totally accurately. They did the same on the Frisco two-bay hopper, however - the hopper bay door latches are the wrong style.
