Guys, At last...I've gotten to do some yellow Frisco cars, actually three sets of them. 1. 2 cars in the Delivery scheme 1963 2. 2 cars in a 1974 repaint scheme, return stencil for Paris, TX 3. 1 car in a one off 1973 reapint scheme with a NEW date in 1963, return stencil for Chicago, IL (Campbell's) These series of cars were ordered for grocery service, mainly for Campbell's Soup but others as well, research bears out SLSF 6110 was in Quaker Oats - pet foods service out of Rockford, IL. https://www.molocotrains.com/collections/freight-cars/RBL1 Other roads are listed that were in the same pools as Frisco's. Thanks for supporting us. Nick
Mine is ordered, should be here in a couple of day's. It's great to have someone who produces high quality products in Frisco. Unfortunatly I am not sure I can lay off of the NW and MIL cars also. Man those are tempting.
Just bought two of them, Nick. I am so glad that you have finally produced these Frisco cars. I bought a non Frisco car from you in the past with the intention of modeling the narrow rods, but I have never figured out how to do the job so that it would look good. Thanks, for the Frisco additions. Terry
Terry thanks for the support. I do have another customer looking for undec kits if that's what you have. Nick
I just ordered and received one of Nick Molo's nice yellow Frisco box cars (1974 paint scheme) along with a 1979 MILW car. I model the late 1970's D&RGW which carried a wide variety of bridge traffic from the east, mid-west and south. Nick is really knocking our socks off with these nice 1970's's appropriate high detail, high accuracy box cars! I'm addicted now! Cheers, Jim Fitch
