Hello. Thank you for letting me join. I found your presentation at the OMRA train show and had a great conversation with Keith. I grew up in Southern California and have been modelling the ATSF, UP and SP (plus my own fictitious roads) since the '70's. Now that I have lived in Missouri since 2012, I've adopted the BN and all those that had merged into it. I love learning the history of railroads, towns and cities and am also wanting to learn more about DCC.
Daniel, by all means Welcome Aboard! You will find the group here ready and willing to answer questions and encourage you to step deep into the Frisco culture. Take time to have a look at all there is here; there is a lot of depth and breadth - and all interesting to us fellow train goobers.
Welcome to the Frisco website Daniel!!! Hope you find this website interesting and fun, we will answer any questions you have. Do you have a layout, if so Please start a thread and tell us about it. Also if you will, post photos, we love photos. Joe
Daniel, welcome to the group. My father-in-law is a Southern California native and always gravitated toward the AT&SF. Lots of stuff to find here-enjoy having a look around. Best Regards,
Just wondering if you have a layout? My daughter lives in Nixa, I'm over that way often, so if I can help you let me know, I also would invite you to the Ozark Model Railroad Association, club, it's on Comercial St, in the old Downtown. We meet every Tuesday at 7 PM. Email me: macon249@yahoo.com
Daniel, you most likely met Bill during the show; he was in the back of the clinic room with the models on display.
