No doubt some of you saw or picked up my "The Race to Indian Territory" book. It covered the race between the Katy, the Border Tier Road, and the LL&G to be the first to the southern border of Kansas in 1870. (For Frisco fans who don't know: the BTR was what became Frisco's KC-Baxter Springs line.) It was in booklet form with a paper cover; kinda cheap, yeah.

Well, I went ahead and reformatted it for Amazon's Create Space Print-on-Demand service, and now it's out. It's now perfect bound with a sturdier cover. The text hasn't changed, nor has the price, $8. If your booklet copy hasn't held up you can get something better. You can find it at Amazon; at my Create Space store https://www.createspace.com/3427767 and I'll have copies at my book talks and at the train shows I'll be doing.

    Keep remembering the Frisco,
    Robert Collins

    Frisco Friends,

Thought that I would give this a bump. I ordered a copy of Robert's book last week and read it with great interest over the weekend. Full of great stories from the predecessors of the Frisco in Eastern Kansas!

    Enjoy,
