This is one of the Frisco built extended or wide vision cabooses for local service. This caboose was built in the Springfield West car Shops during 11/1975. the main car body came from a Pullman Standard PS-1 boxcar, SLSF 18281.

The caboose is in the city's Finley River Park. It is located near the south end park entrance close to the intersection of North 3rd street and East McCracken Roads. Unfortunately it is incorrectly numbered 1938.

The address is 714 North 3rd Street, Ozark, MO.

    Please see http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou...d=t1cykmrtOo6e1918QvNtgA&cbp=11,308.5,,0,1.94.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

Was by caboose in Ozark, MO Monday Dec. 11, 2017 & it is being maintained in an excellent fashion and has Christmas decorations on it. Did not see inside. Took some pictures of it and the abandoned roadbed between Ozark & Chadwick.
