Adam, go ahead and like the UP, but be prepared for some ribbing, not unlike what I've received when in Lawrence, Kansas while wearing a Mizzou shirt. At any rate, I cast my vote for HO Scale, principally since that's my scale and since I think it's feasible to model prototype locations in such a space. Especially Frisco locations. You could definitely fit in more in N Scale, but more track isn't always better. I've learned that lesson even in HO. Best Regards,
Yes, I gotta admit, UP, CN&W have a great logo and paint. Course when I was Trainmaster in Gillette, Wy, we were in fierce Competion with UP. I did like riding in their business cars more than BN. The insides of the BN cars were real neat though. The outside of the CN&W and UP cars was really nice . Those cars were in Gillette so much I got tired of riding them. A Trainmaster had to ride them, when they was on his territory.
Bill: Ah yes, the C&NW! LOVED their green stripe switcher scheme!! (Was it "Route Of The Streamliners" or "Route Of The 400's" on the sides, or either of the two?) Anyway: Yup... there are LOTS of neat railroads "out there" in railroad land of yore.
