Received the drawings that the builders create for the production models from PSC today to look over.
I have no exceptions to anything that I see.
He sent them as PDF because I don't have Autocad. I'm saving them as a .jpg
Looking at "end of yearish" for delivery. Still taking reservations.

"I have no exceptions to anything that I see."

Nor should any of us considering who the draftsman was.

    Who was the draftsman?

I can't say who the draftsman was, they were undoubtedly drawn in Korea, but I can say they put a tremendous amount of work in the drawings. It's pretty obvious to me that looking at the drawings they will be amazing engines, on par with all the current imports. I have to wonder what the old time draftsman from Baldwin would think seeing one of their engines drawn up in metric.

This is the work of a company in Korea who does all the drafting work for the builders. They do great work and have included a ton of detail on these drawings for the builder to agonize over. I'm very impressed at the accuracy of them.
I guess that this kind of design work and the builder's attention to detail are what makes the price go up. I'm figuring these will be in the $2250+ range to the customer. Much higher as retail. Along with the Hudsons and 4500s, they will be extraordinary.
    Order more..............

    Brad,
The drawings where not done by a pencil pusher, but by a button presser! (etch-a-sketch)!

I forgot the tender drawing for the 1503 when I uploaded the others. Here it is.

The names of all the drawing files contain either god or GOD, and in the draftsman's name box, GOD is spelled out.

Good grief not me. I'm not accomplished in CAD. The GOD stands for General Outline Drawing. I can find no fault with them.

That's a good one, Don. At least you didn't crucify them. I am looking forward to my engine when it comes in. All the Glacier Park and PSC engines have been fantastic.

It looks like they are put back until about May. I need to talk to Mark one of these days and see what's up.

Well, there goes my Christmas present. I told my wife to just give me a check and tell my kids the same. Oh well, I guess my birthday money can go towards this engine along with my Christmas money.
