  3. Funny we kind of talked about this at the show too.
    As far as price, if you do any of the clinics etc...or both days it isn't bad.
    It is way more than the typical swap meet.
    Brad was entertaining for us. It was nice to get a few faces for names too.

    Every time I see one of your "spot" models, I think of the local guy down in the Houston House in Newburg that picked up your model and was fondling it as he looked it over while everybody else held their breath. Which spot was that - one of the Newburg pair? (27 & 40?)

    It was the 19. The 7 is one that I built for Tom Marsh of Overland.

    A number of the vendors left after Friday to go to the Railroad Days show in Galesburg. One of the local modelers hear said that several of the vendors he talked on Saturday told him they had just gotten into Galesburg from the St Louis RPM meet.

    Ahhhh... makes sense.

    I noticed Spring Creek Models posted they had 4 loaded pickups going to 4 different venues that weekend.

    Trying to remember his name. He was a retired engineer who had worked on them in his day.

    This coming weekend is an open house and train show in their hometown, Deshler, NE.
