Can anyone share a photograph? I modeled her about 40 years ago using a Blue Box Gp7 and still run her - a lot.

Wonder if the first photo listed as "unknown location" might also be North Clinton? Seems a popular hangout for GP7 SLSF 599 There also appears to be another line in the background. However, the line poles adjacent to SLSF 599 appear to have way too many cross arms for the Clinton Subdivision. Doug, I bought an old undecorated blue box F7A at a show years ago that is, to date, my only personally painted and decaled Frisco diesel. It is probably the most reliable performer that I have on my little vignette. Best Regards,
There is also a semaphore block signal in the picture. The Clinton Subdivision was dark territory. I do not believe there were any signals on the line after the interlocking tower at North Clinton was replaced with a gate in the 1950s. Paul
Those old blue box Athearns just keep on running. But you have to lubricate them every decade or so. Doug
I still have a blue box SW7 SLSF 302 in black and yellow I bought in Cincinnati in 1975. It still runs okay and still looks good. That old Athearn motor has a high current draw which irritates me, so I bought a modern motor to repower it, but have never put it in. Typical. K
K, The stall current on that 40-year-old blue box GP7 I used for SLSF 599 was a half amp draw. I used an ECO-200 rather than -100 anyway.
