Here's an image of SL-SF 19249 (?), a PS-1 40' boxcar, captured at Lindenwood Yard in Saint Louis MO in July 1979. Photograph by Rich Lawler.

The Frisco had several Pullman Green express boxcars for use in steam era passenger trains.

Thanks - Do you know what type they were (40')? I see that Microscale has decal set that they claim works with the Frisco green boxcar.

    Thanks,

    Jim

    Microscale got it wrong

If you are refering to Microscale set 87-149 where it states: "2. Green with either black or white lettering, (#13018, #15537).", I believe that this is erroneous information. Series 13000-13299 boxcars were originally painted gray and series 15500-15574 boxcars were painted blue. Refer to Nicholas John Molo's "Frisco/Katy Color Guide to Freight Equipment" which has color photographs of examples from each of these series.
