Good to see you back to active modeling, Tim. Either way, I'm just glad that you gave this ignorant kid a stack of your FMIG newsletters to read through in my spare time a few years back. Looking forward to more updates in the future,
Wow! Finally got back to this project. A few touch ups here and there and I'll be ready for my first attempt at dry transfer decals.
I love it! If they made a nice 4-4-0 in O scale I would kick around the idea of dabbling in O scale. I need two basements.
Well, this was my first time using dry transfers. I'm not a big fan of them but you gotta do what you gotta do. Maybe after weathering it will look a little better.
Tim, that's a true gem. Always neat to see a predecessor line being modeled. If any shipper found that this car wasn't big enough for them after partially loading it, they'd only have themselves to blame: the I/H, I/W and I/L are indubitably visible. Best Regards,
Are you kidding me! This is just gorgeous. Those graphics really stand out huh? Makes me want to go to O scale too. Jim if I had an extra basement..... well..... never mind.
Love your work, Tim. That is a really neat car .. the decals/transfers look great. What a gem. BTW .. Whose "grabs" did you use .. look good!
