Well, now that is just outstanding Brad. Great job on the weathering too. The details are incredible. Wish I knew more about steam.
That is beautiful, I envy the skills that you and other highly skilled modelers here have ! How awesome it would be to have seen one of these in action pulling a freight train. I go see the UP 844 every time it runs through Oklahoma and it is an awesome experience. I even got to see 1522 run many years ago on a BN employee special train from Tulsa to Sapulpa and it was awesome. Love your model.

That's a real beauty, Brad!! And for all you steam lovers, here's an item for you. Back in the mid '40s my Dad worked for the Frisco in Ft. Scott.I was just a kid then, but Dad knew I loved steam and was acquainted with most of the classes of Frisco steam. One day he told me that a 4200 had brought down 144 cars from KC. Of course, these were mostly 40 ft. cars in those days and some of the cars were empties, but still that's a whale of a load for 2-8-2. I was also around when the 4310 was a passenger loco on the KC-Florida Special. Great memories. Fred Clem
Very nice work Brad - the 4300's were my favorites in Frisco steam for all around beauty and performance. Not knocking the 1500's, 1060's or 4500's though! Ken

Guys I appreciate all the nice comments, but I really can't take much of the credit, Brain Marsh and some Korean folks deserve most of the credit. I painted & weathered and decaled them added jewels for the markers figures and coal loads. Ken I would agree they were one of the Frisco's sharpest steam engine. Brad Slone
Well, not to toss a pail of water on the fire ... I remember a few pairs of 38's that more beautiful, but those were days long gone by now! NO, seriously now, Brad, those are really, really beautiful. Outstanding modeling!
