There were little structures similar to this all along the CSX in Mississippi. About eight or nine years ago, they modernized and replaced all of the signaling system in our area. I saw a crew replacing a signal mast down the street from my house and they were removing the little metal shed. I asked the foreman if they were going to save those things and sell them. He said no, all that was too much trouble and they were just going to scrap them, saying that everybody in the world wanted one of those things for a storage building, but they couldn’t have them.
