I had to notch the roof overhang to clear the far-too-large stairway light. So, I decided to make the roof removable, in case I ever want to add an interior.

I always thought the roof on the Walthers tower doesn’t have enough eave overhang for a Southern or Southwestern tower dealing with extreme sun and rain. A nice model but with an odd looking roof.
