GREAT photos, Karl. Thanks. It's worth pausing for a moment to consider what was accomplished using black powder, crude steam drills, mules and a whole lot of labor. It's too bad that the whole undertaking had such a short operating life, but nice that it is being recognized today with things like the reconstructed depot. It would be nice if, at some point, the slide rubble covering the tunnel portals could be cleared away, even if the portals were then sealed.

Thanks for posting the pictures Karl! I bought Mallory Hope Ferrell's book The South Park Line a couple of years ago and was entranced by the pictures of the DSP&P - it made me want to hop in the truck and drive out to Colorado to see the remains for myself. Now that I've seen your pictures, I REALLY want to go out there...maybe next year.

The Grandt Line window at the back was glued in crooked.

      Don,

You know those narrrow gauge folks don't have very high standards.

Very nice photos. Have been planning a drive up there for a while but only made it to the D&RG lines so far.
