Looking southwest from Line Street overpass at the present Sapulpa office and wye.

It looks much different from my days. There were two train order signals governing the two divisions and a blade governing the Oklahoma sub westward. There was a lineside phone between the crossovers (just out of sight, lower left)...this is where O.O. Martin ran right past the double red A block to drop me off precisely at the phone. As my trailing foot touched the ground I could hear the engine relays clicking as he deftly backed out to clear. Old days-old ways. What a fine railroad we once had. Is the cow path gone?...I cannot see it in this photo.

That almost looks like the front half of a reversing loop on a layout!
