Tom, Very nice Palace car. I have the same from Roundhouse and I too am going to do them for my line. I got sets of Precision Scale trucks for them. Did you find anything particular about assembling these in terms of things to look out for etc.? I really like your paint job. Very nice.
Thanks Many, I just happened upon this old R/H car a couple years ago stripped it and did it up for a QA&P MW car. The car is actually too long for the real one but i used it anyway. The trucks are R/H and yep they be junk, put Reeboxx wheels under it and body mounted the couplers and all that. It rarely moves on the MRR as it usually sit At Quanah, as part of the work train. I have not forgotten your request for the QA&P tank car decals, unfortunately, all the artwork got deleted, so now I gotta start from scratch again and it takes a lot of work to get it all back. I am a Locomotive Engineer for BNSF, and I am always gone it seems, we get allot of heldaway at the away from home terminal, and as you know that robs me of time at home. See ya, Tom
