Double-ended passenger consist is Reading "Crusader." Note the observation car "round end" right behind the tender. Locomotive says "Crusader" on its skirting, too. It was a distinctive train with a serious fan base in its day. It looks good in the desert!
The Crusader would be an acceptable "stand-in" for a Blue Goose-powered train with a healthy exercise of the imagination. I wonder if that was the plan all along.
